If you can mount it manually visit this https://github.com/mpartel/bindfs/issues/60 might help unless you not mounting any USB at boot delaying on boot is the key,

Others also says the new versions of Bindfs do not support Users and Groups.

Hello PLUG,

I have a partition that I am sharing locally among two users.

This is the content in the fstab file. Previously I was able to create
folders in /home/shared . Now I cannot.

What should I look for?

/dev/disk/by-uuid/4184c3da-2bd0-456d-8cd3-b347b4898599 /home/shared auto
nosuid,nodev,nofail,x-gvfs-show 0 0
/home/shared??? /home/shared??? fuse.bindfs
perms=0660:+X,force-group=shareddata,x-gvfs-hide,nonempty??? 0 0

Sam
