We are currently looking for an INFRASTRUCTURE SPECIALIST to be based in Makati City.

Position Title Infrastructure Specialist
Department Service Delivery
Reports to IT Manager
Position Summary Infrastructure Specialist is in charge of implementing and administering, corporate servers and network infrastructure.
Primary Responsibilities • Acts as IT Business Partner providing server and network related solutions to internal users, stakeholders and external clients
• Implement and maintains corporate servers, network infrastructure and equipments
• Acts as Team Lead of 3rd party IT Technical Support
• Liaises with vendors on server and network related requirements of the company
• Acts as Level 2 (L2) support of IT Support Specialist and Service Desk for server and network related issues
• Acts as technical consultant to Application Development Department for projects that require servers and network.
Formal Education Graduate of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, ECE or related courses, preferably with Microsoft certification but not required.
Experience Minimum of 2 to 3 years solid experience in implementing and administering corporate servers and network infrastructure; has experience in leading 3rd party technical support team.
Knowledge/Skills/
Abilities • Highly skilled in a UNIX, Linux and/or Windows environment
• Knowledgeable in BASH scripting
• Knowledgeable in LAN/WAN, TCP/IP networks, server clustering and replication, hardware and software RAID implementation, configuration and maintenance
• Working knowledge in CISCO hubs, switches and routers; DSL and Access Point environment
• Solid working experience in the following Operating Systems: Linux Redhat, Debian, CentOS, Fedora, Ubuntu, Unix Solaris, HP-UX, Windows Server OS, Windows desktop and laptop OS 98/2000/XP/Vista
• Solid working experience in the following server software: Apache HTTP, Apache Tomcat, Resin, Squid, Dansguardian, ISPConfig, Microsoft IIS, Postfix, Qmail, PureMessage, Courier IMAP/POP, Cyrus IMAP/POP, SpamAssassin, Zimbra Microsoft Outlook and Exchange Server, Samba, FreeNAS, OpenFiler, ISCSI, VSFTP, NFS, MSSQL, MySQL, OpenLDAP, Fortinet firewall, SSHD, RDesktop, Tight VNC, Sophos Enterprise Anti-virus, ClamAV, VMware, Xen, WINE, Virtual Box, NetVault, Amanda, Veritas, Bind DNS, DHCP, Dial-up or RAS server, NTP, Microsoft Active Directory, Fedora Active Directory
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Willing to take challenging and pioneering projects
• Works well under pressure with less supervision
• Understands business partnering with users and enjoys working with people at various levels of the organization
• Must be a team player
• Willing to be based in Makati but may be assigned for some projects or support work outside of Metro Manila.
