The website should have a list of developers, contributors, documentors, etc. Also there should be a downloadable source/documentation tarball, so that people can read the code, and submit contributions. As the web site stands, there is nothing to see but an ad page, and gives the impression of a "closed" system, because nothing is revealed, yet.

FYI, the Open Election System url is www.transparentelections.org.ph, it's also mirrored in http://openelections.xinapse.net and it's still a work in progress. For those people who may not be aware yet of the Open Election System, it's an Open Source based system being pushed as an alternative solution againsts the Direct Recording Equipment (DRE) which will be pilot tested in the coming ARMM elections. The Open Election System aim is to promote transparency (including the source code) in the counting process and especially avoid "dagdag - bawas" and making the information available to all.
