When I posted I hadn't realized that the discussion with the subject
"Monitor spike?" was about a problem with the system that monitors the
pool servers. So it appears that there is nothing wrong with either
of our systems.
We should probably took for discussion in the "Monitor spike?" thread
to see what's going on.
