Hey, dont shoot the messenger.

Just joking. Anyway, for your questions about the goals of the
conference, I guess that is better addressed to the organizers. Im just
helping them in advertising the conference.

For your question on the problem in the government, in my 4 years
experience in government work, yes, that is one of the main reasons why
some agencies dont want to computerize. It would mean a lot of layoffs.
I think its a hole in our civil service rules regarding the permanency
of employees.

Anyway, this is out of topic on this mailing list. Sorry for the post.
